About Me

dennycash
I know you are busy, but please take some time to check out my blog.

I am very serious about this and I will not bug you anymore about it unless invited.

I have posted a variety of things there, but the reason I am asking you to look here is because it has some good resources that bolster my claim that we should be in full preparation mode (food, money, security) right now.  I am having very limited success with this warning elsewhere and this is, unfortunately, reminiscent of Y2K and probably because of my warnings about Y2K and the fact that it turned out to be a non-event.  Those same people who I warned back then watched me get ready for that and then, afterwards, they see me as someone who, perhaps, has little to no credibility on the subject of what is going to happen.  They probably feel the same way now.  Denny the doomsayer and the boy who cries wolf.  To them, that is me.  I accept that.  It is okay and certainly understandable.

Wouldn’t it be cool if I am wrong again? Yes, it would be. I would certainly welcome that turn of events.

But I am probably not wrong.  I am betting most of my current spare time and money on the conviction that I am correct. (Just like I did before.)

So back to my old argument.  Yes, I could be wrong again.  You need to make your own decisions about the likelihood of that.  It can’t be done in a vacuum.  The mainstream media and most of our friends and family, unfortunately, qualify as a vacuum these days. Sad, but true.  So, in order to see if I am all wet, we need to do some homework and proceed based on our best assessment.  Given that, then, the other part of my argument is that we should all do what we can to prepare such that in the event Denny IS all wet we do not regret the actions we took to be prepared.

That is kind of what I did for Y2K.  I asked myself, well if I buy this or that or some amount of food for long-term storage or some junk silver, are those purchases ones that suddenly lose value due to the non-event?  In most cases, I used that criteria for my preparation.  Many of those purchases are still intact for use in the event that the predictions noted in various sources listed on my blog come to pass.  So that helps greatly.

However, I realize, based on my best assessment, that I need to do more.  I do not believe that there are any silver bullets in this preparation effort.  God has the silver bullets, I do not.  However, this is about being a good stewart and perhaps enabling myself to be of some use to others.  This starts by trying to take care of my needs and Jennifer’s needs in a survival situation.  If we are OK, then we can offer help to others.  If we have no money or barter items, no water, no food or no heat, then it will be very hard for us to help anyone.

Lately, I have been feeling alone in these efforts.  Just like I did prior to Y2K.  That matters little in the grand scheme of things.  The important thing is that I keep trying.

The important thing is that I send this message in the best way I can so I do not find myself in a situation where I think that I could’ve warned someone and saved them hardship and didn’t.

If after you have reviewed the material on this blog and if after making your own mind up about the contents and as a result, agree that preparation is indeed a good idea – please share this with your friends and family who do not have access to the internet or do not use it.  There is no point in warning people and/or telling them that they should make preparations or sounding an alarm unless you, personally, have a very good reason for doing so and can back up your opinions with evidence.  We are responsible for reviving our reading skills, our ability to think critically and relay that information as best we can. As a society, we have abdicated those responsibilities to those who, generally, should not be trusted and we are entering a time when that trend must be reversed.  The so-called good times have lulled us into a false sense of security. This security of perceived plenty and the promises of the nanny-state are illusory at best and it is high time that we wake up now or do so later when it will be much more difficult.

I don’t expect agreement here. This is just an opportunity to take a second look.  In either case, I wish you the best.

A note to the wise and those who don’t mind making the time:  Part of doing research is going a little ways beyond the surface presentation.  One of the beauties of youtube is that after the video is completed you’ll notice additional related video links. Watch them.  You’ll learn more.  The same goes for names mentioned on my blog.  Do an internet search using google or a similar search engine on the names.  Read the links that come up.  You’ll learn more.  And the same goes for the website links such as www.lewrockwell.comhttp://meltdown2011.wordpress.com/ , http://libertarianchristians.com/ , http://www.takimag.com/ , http://www.newswithviews.com/ , http://www.mises.org/ , and www.antiwar.com .  There are tons of good articles on these sites.  Follow your gut as you navigate and pay close attention to the questions that come up in your mind.  Getting those questions answered should be one of your primary guides as you proceed.  If you are a book reader, then my first recommendations is, of course, the Bible and for the worldly there are two books that I highly recommend that are pertinent to the theme of this blog and they are The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin and The True Story of the Bilderbergers by Daniel Estulin.

So I hope this helps you.

Love – Denny

About me?  Oh that’s boring!

Oh … wait a minute … I used to live in Hawaii on Oahu in Wahiawa from 1969 to 1971. That’s where I got comfortable in the ocean and learned to snorkle. I also spent some time in Europe in the summer of 1975 with the American Institute of Foreign Studies, then took an epic road trip thru southwestern Canada in 1979 in a Mercedes 190SL and in 1983 I went to Tahiti on a ship and lived out a scene from a Gauguin painting. Not so boring afterall.

Happy Go Lucky Guy?

heilemans

Most would say no.  They’d be right, but I’ve had my moments.  Back in the days of Heileman’s Special Export and a CC back I was quite the smiler (smeller).  Yes, those were happy go lucky days attended by much collateral damage and destruction.

A had a crew of overactive angels and my love life was a feast and famine affair that kept me wondering about the stars and the phases of the moon.  I came around at the tender age of 26 and then had to wait another 14 years until the lights came on.

And boy did they come on!

My joy these days is more an internal thing.  Non problem there, but sometimes its hard for others to see.  I guess dear Jennifer gets the best glimpses and she would probably cite such moments when her border collie Tina is up in my lap in the easy chair.  She also sees me go to that place when one of my favorite songs is played; or perhaps after a stint in the garden and my list is completed or I have a basket of freshly picked home-grown vegetables to bring inside.

These are the days.  Yes, I can sometimes have it both ways, but best it is on His Terms and not mine.

Aloha Denny, Your mother just sent me this website and I responded to how proud she is of you. Having known your parents since high school I am not surprised at all by your talent. Please stay with this as you have so much to offer. Jackie Medley

    Hi Jackie -

Thanks for the kind compliment. I would rather be doing other things with whatever talents I have, but given the current circumstances this seems more appropriate.

If you don’t mind doing A LOT of reading and watching movies on the computer I think this is a place you can learn a lot without having to do many separate searches. I hope you can check ALL of it out and then share as you see fit.

    Aloha too – Denny

Hi Denny – We agree with your warnings about how we need to get ready for the crunch that is about to happen. We are going to can and are growing a garden and are building up our food supply. Michael and I have heard it from the people that we have ordered our heirloom seeds from. All of the growers heed the same warning.

I like our blog. Sorry it has taken me sooooooooooo long to get here.
