Back in 1992, less than a year after I began my journey of learning the truth about who really runs this country, who the traitors are and how deep the corruption runs, Bush, Sr. began promoting a new world order. As a matter of fact, he used that term 162 times while he was president. [1] Those of us who tried to explain the planned destruction of America were called the usual names: wackos, anti-government this or that. The same year, Joe Biden, traitor to this republic, openly on the senate floor outlined the ‘Wilsonian Vision’ for a new world order.
One world government. New World Order. Just code words for anti-government, “disenfranchised” kooks writing all those books because they hate President Clinton. No, make that Bush, Jr. No, make that Marxist Obama/Soetoro. Millions like me have given up precious time with our family, fun is a word of the past and forget any paychecks – just because we don’t have have anything better to do! What I learned in the first year of my research scared the hell out of me and that took care of the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. There was a job to do and that was try and reach every American who would listen. Back then, there were few. Now, we are on the brink and the destroyers no longer hide their intentions:

One world government means one world religion and that’s where the Rick Warren’s of the world come into play. Warren’s mission is “modern religion.” His crusade is to build a “unified theology” which pushes “civility”. I’ve watched him and he’s very slick. There is a huge effort world wide to “blend” the world’s religions, ending up with some wacky version the “New Age” baloney. The number one goal, of course, is to destroy Christianity in this country. It is essential in fostering communism because communism can only flourish in a Godless nation. Global domination under a brutal, communist, totalitarian force is the ultimate goal.
One world military. That would be all nations troops put under the control of the communist UN.
No more sovereign nations, no more borders. Regionalizing all the nations on the globe while sacking and looting the more prosperous ones, beating them into the ground while subsidizing “poor” countries and enriching brutal dictators around the world. (Obama to donate $400,000 to Charities run by Gadhafi’s children – that’s OUR money.) Get in the way of the destroyers and you will find yourself on the other end of a US missile or other ordnance full of depleted uranium. Brute force.
If it weren’t for other dedicated Americans who also spent decades trying to reach people like me, I would never have found the truth. In the past, there were courageous members of Congress who tried to warn the American people who were not listening back then. It was sex, drugs, rock and roll and good times while the destroyers were hard at work:

Mr. Speaker, many of us recently received a letter from the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, inviting Members of Congress to participate in a ceremonial signing of “A Declaration of Interdependence” on January 30 in Congress Hall, adjacent to Independence Hall in Philadelphia. A number of Members of Congress have been invited to sign this document, lending their prestige to its theme, but I want the record to show my strong opposition to this declaration.
“It calls for surrender of our national sovereignty to international organizations. It declares that our economy should be regulated by international authorities. It proposes that we enter a “new world order” that would redistribute the wealth created by the American people. Mr. Speaker, this is an obscenity that defiles our Declaration of Independence, signed 200 years ago in Philadelphia. We fought a great Revolution for independence and individual liberty, but now it proposed that we participate in a world socialist order.
“Are we a proud and free people, or are we a carcass to be picked by the jackals of the world, who want to destroy us? When one cuts through the high-flown rhetoric of this “Declaration of Interdependence,” one finds key phrases that tell the story. For example, it states:
“The economy of all nations is a seamless web, and that no one nation can any longer effectively maintain its processes of production and monetary systems without recognizing the necessity for collaborative regulation by international authorities.”
“How do you like the idea of “international authorities” controlling our production and monetary system, Mr. Speaker? How could any American dedicated to our national independence and freedom tolerate such an idea? The declaration goes on to urge a strengthening of the United Nations and a broadening of the jurisdiction of the World Court, “that these may preside over a reign of law that will not only end wars but end as well the mindless violence which terrorizes our society even in times of peace. Examine this closely. It suggests that world government will somehow cure the problems of crime and terrorism, not just the problem of war. Quite obviously, the sponsors of this declaration have lost all contact with reality.
“Mr. Speaker, we have lately witnessed the United Nations organization in full cry against America and her allies of the Free World. We have watched the UN become an instrument of the Soviet Union and its shabby following of despots, large and small. America should never subject her fate to decisions by such an assembly, unless we long for national suicide. Instead, we have independence and freedom.”
Marxist Bill Clinton gave many rousing speeches in favor of “interdependence” with other nations and giving up our sovereignty. How about Alvin Toffler, who said, “We need to completely reconsider the structure of the Constitution.” The vile, despicable, Newt Gingrich wrote the forward to Toffler’s book. Newt was his boy and if you want to know the real Newt Gingrich, read this column. He is what’s called the controlled opposition; just like Mitt Romney. Stop throwing money at Gingrich’s organization and buying his books.
Gingrich never lifted a finger to get us out of the UN, abolish the privately owned Federal Reserve or get rid of the unnecessary income tax. He rode the rails to get the largest destroyer of jobs ever to hit this country passed: NAFTA – cheered on by Rush Limbaugh. His cohorts in destroying millions of good jobs and shipping them overseas: Dennis Hastert, Dick Armey, John Boehner, Ron Portman, Tom Daschle, Nancy Pelosi, Christopher Dodd, Ted Kennedy, Joe Lieberman, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Juan McCain, Bob Dole and Mitch McConnell, just to name a few. These “leaders” then shoved the unconstitutional WTO down our throats. We now have 15 MILLION Americans unemployed, but all those fat cats have been well rewarded for their treachery in selling out the American worker.
In 1947, newspapers wrote about a secret new constitution to replace ours. Americans weren’t paying attention. The war was over; our grand parents and parents were trying to put our country back on track and pursue the American dream. There was no Internet to get the truth to millions at the tap of a key.
1972. Richard Nixon met with Chou En-Lai in Shanghai to cement a new world order. America crawled into bed with the commies. The same communists who were holding our POW/MIAs from the Korean and Viet Nam “conflicts.” Only God knows how many are still alive, but those butchers of Beijing had them at the same time Nixon was over there kissing En-Lai’s backside and toasting champagne.
As awareness of the diabolical plans afoot began to circulate America, the destroyers wasted no time in implementing plans to force a police state upon us and cover their evil with supposedly “good” government organizations to “help the people”. A prime example is the work of Oliver North, darling of the right and a disgrace to his uniform. Under the direction of Ronald Reagan, North drew up plans for martial law using FEMA, a little known agency, but a MAJOR player in the big plan.
North directly helped draft a plan in 1984 to impose martial law in the United States in the event of an emergency. This secret plan would suspend the U.S. Constitution and turn over control of the government to the little known agency at that time: FEMA. This plan would appoint military commanders to run state and local governments. Implementation of this plan would have been triggered by violent and wise spread internal dissent, disagreement with government policy or national opposition to any U.S. military invasion abroad. Essentially, it amounted to a complete and total suspension of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
In anger and shock that a lowly Lt. Col., was actually integral in setting up a shadow government, Attorney General William French Smith resigned. I know this type of information is very upsetting to people. They don’t want to believe it because betrayal is a painful emotion. Unless and until you take the time to do the research and I don’t mean just someone’s opinion, I mean documented times, dates, places, players and agenda, it’s easy to just blow all this off as blathering from conspiracy wing nuts. To do so will be fatal to our republic. Once you do see the big picture, then you will understand why all these monstrous pieces of legislation – cap and trade, “universal” heath care, the water heist bill, five “hate” crime bills on deck right now, gun control and more, are so important to those who control our government. The agenda is now in hyper drive because the cat is out of the bag and the American people are on the march. This will not be tolerated by the elite cabal.
I know many Americans believe that Barack Hussein Obama is just a nice, charismatic, Caucasian/Negro man who worked his way up from middle class to become the leader of the free world. They bought the big lie sold to them by the liars for hire in the so-called mainstream media and cable networks like MSNBC and CNN. Thankfully, many are beginning to see they bought a defective product. Comrade Obama was groomed from his early years by his communist mentors to be right where the cabal at the top wanted him for many reasons. Attack his policies, you’re a racist. It’s the old divide and conquer trap.
The usurper has tried to convince people he’s a Christian who spent 20 years in a church which teaches Black Liberation Theology. Marxism wrapped up in a black Jesus. Obama/Soetoro spent a few years in Indonesia and is listed as Muslim for the purpose of school enrollment. That set people off into a tizzy. I’ve never believed Comrade Obama is a Muslim. He smokes, drinks alcohol, he’s bi-sexual, supports killing unborn babies, fought hard to deny babies born alive during an abortion any medical care to keep them alive and champions sodomites and lesbians. All of those things are taboo for Muslims. Personally, I believe the usurper is an atheist just like his mother, Stanley. She was a hard core atheist by age 15 and in Obama’s own words, the biggest influence in his life – until Frank Marshall, Jr., got ahold of him.
I know millions of Americans are waking up and becoming active. A little over a year ago, tens of millions of Americans got shocked out of their comfort zones when the manufactured banking crisis hit and the traitors in Congress, led by Pelosi and Reid, and signed off by another new world order lackey, George Bush, Jr., robbed the American people blind with the so called “bail out” legislation. Every single step taken since then has been carefully calculated and it spells even further financial disaster for our nation and people.
But, who is behind it? Who really controls Congress, the White House and the media? Who are “they”? The Bilderberg Group. The Council on Foreign Relations. The Tri-Lateral Commission. Let’s start with those. The CFR and Tri-Lateral are the water carriers for the upper crust global elite and bankers, dubbed the Bilderbergers. The group poo-pooed by popular talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Their agenda IS to destroy this republic and bring America under global world domination. While some of the flunkies from academia and media might protest these two organizations are nothing more than bi-partisan think tanks, those of us who have done the hard, documented research know better.

I’ve listed a few more in the links section because they also should be read — but read Daniel’s book first. These are the traitors of the world who call themselves the elites. These are the ones who make sure there are endless wars for profit, ensure poor countries stay poor while demanding the fruits of our labor to continue supporting their evil agenda.
The individuals in Daniel’s book set policy for our government. They play governments around the world like pieces on a chess board. The big game. These people are responsible for destroying our economy with their arrogance in attempting to create a one world financial system (Comrade Obama is working on the final details) that is now in shambles. Ah, but they have a solution! Get rid of our dollar and go to a global currency. This would only create another form of debt currency and drag America further into abject poverty. You must know who these people are, even though they don’t want you to know their diabolical plans. They want you to stay distracted with the political bickering as their organizations and minions under them continue their work.
The True Story of the Bilderberg Group by Daniel Estulin – Get it, read it and stop supporting these “world leaders, ” cabinet members, Supreme Court Justices and members of Congress who are behind the planned destruction of America. Stop supporting the so-called mainstream media that has betrayed America. Stop supporting with your consumer dollars the corporations whose CEOs are part and parcel to this plan for one world government. Patrick Henry said:
“It is natural for man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts…For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth, to know the worst, and to provide for it.”
For the sake of our nation, your life, your family and future generations, do not close your eyes to the painful truth.

The Prison-Industrial Complex Takes Over a Montana Town

Four years ago, the city government of Hardin, Montana decided to build a large jail — 144,000 square feet, 484 beds — in an attempt to capitalize on the detention boom. A development agency called the Two Rivers Authority (TRA) was created; it issued $27 million in bonds to pay for the project.
The jail was built. It remains empty. The bonds have gone into default.
Several months ago, the TRA negotiated a deal — the details of which remain secret — with a private security firm called American Police Force (APF), which was incorporated in Santa Ana, California last March.
The deal reportedly includes $2.6 million for APF to run the jail, plus $23 million to run a 30,000-square foot training facility for military and police personnel on property managed by the TRA.
In addition, APF promises to shower the city will all kinds of amenities — computers for the local schools, donations to the local food bank, tricked-out cars for the local police force…. Whoops, did I mention that last item out loud?
Hardin has no police force; it receives police coverage through the Bighorn County Sheriff’s Office. So it caused a stir last Thursday when APF officials arrived in Hardin in grand style — a convoy of black Mercedes SUVs bearing the logo of a non-existent “City of Hardin Police Force.”
The APF hired Becky Shay, a reporter from the Billings Gazette who had covered the story of the Hardin jail, as its new spokesperson (for the enviable salary of $60,000 a year). It also began negotiating an employment deal with mayoral candidate Kerri Smith. Her husband, Greg Smith, is the Executive Director of the TRA and the fellow responsible for working out the deal with APF. Greg Smith was immediately put on “administrative leave” and has effectively disappeared. (He didn’t answer messages I left at his business telephone number.)
Local residents are understandably curious about this mysterious private “security firm” that appears to be taking over their town.
There was initial speculation that American Police Force (the organization’s website conveniently went dark as this story broke) is a tentacle of the mercenary firm once known as Blackwater and now called Xe (pronounced “Zee”); however, a press spokesperson at Xe informed me that she had although she had received media inquiries about the matter from Montana, she had never heard of APF before news broke of recent developments in Hardin.
APF insists that it has plenty of money to make good on its promises, but pointedly refuses to say where it comes from. Its new press spokesman deflects such questions by saying that she’s confident that her paychecks will clear. Civic leaders either aren’t talking or don’t have anything useful to say.
There are some in Hardin who suspect that their town is essentially being taken over by a corporatist mercenary firm. At things stand, that suspicion is entirely justified.

The latest on what’s happening in Hardin, Montana: State Attorney General Steve Bullock has launched a probe into the jail deal with American Police Force and its shady founder:
Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock launched an investigation Thursday into American Police Force, the California company founded by a Serbian immigrant with a lengthy criminal history that is seeking to run an empty, 464-bed jail in Hardin.
Bullock sent a nine-page demand letter late Thursday afternoon to Becky Shay, the spokeswoman for APF and the company’s only Montana employee.
Shay did not immediately respond to phone calls Thursday.
According to the document, Bullock is launching the civil investigation into APF over concerns that the company might be violating the Montana Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
Among other things, Bullock demanded that the company provide proof for many statements about the company included on APF’s Web site. The site says that the company frequently has contracts with the U.S. government and has operations in all 50 states.
Research into the company has turned up no record of APF contracting with the federal government. Bullock has requested that the company provide proof of its federal contracts and operations in other states.
Bullock also requested a copy of the contract between APF and Two Rivers Authority, the economic development arm of the city of Hardin, which built the jail two years ago.
The contract is reportedly a 10-year, multimillion-dollar deal with APF to run the jail.
Although Michael Hilton, the man behind APF, and local officials say the deal is as good as done, US Bank, the trustee for the bonds sold to build the jail, has never signed off on it.
People involved in the deal are jumping ship:
A California company’s bid to take over an empty jail in rural Montana appears to be unraveling, with an attorney involved in the project cutting ties Friday and a second company, once named as a subcontractor, denying any involvement.
Those moves followed revelations earlier in the week that Michael Hilton—the lead figure of the company, American Police Force—is a convicted felon with a history of fraud and failed business dealings in California.
“We met with him and he asked us if we can support him,” said Edward Angelino, chief executive of Allied Defense Systems, an Irvine, Calif.-based defense contractor. “We checked his background, we checked his company. He’s not an adequate person to do business with.”

On September 20th, this is what Becky Shay reported for the Billings Gazette this on September 20th for the Billings Gazette.

On November 18, 2003, at a special meeting, WCC’s shareholders approved a change in the corporate name of WCC from “Wackenhut Corrections Corporation” to “The GEO Group, Inc.”
Then in 2006,
“Wackenhut is a joint venture partner along with MPRI, Kellogg Brown and Root and AGS in the civilian police training company Civilian Police International, LLC which is under a State Department contract for $1.6 billion to work with the Civilian Police and Rule of Law office in coordination with the United Nations training emerging police forces around the world.”

A “big” flu surprise?

“It’s obvious that public health officials are more intent upon preparing a vaccine to address an impending flu outbreak late this fall in North America than asking where this H1N1 swine-origin triple-assortment influenza virus came from and how it developed.

The $9 billion the U.S. allotted to fight a flu that has crossed continents, that did not spark a deadly flu outbreak in South America during their flu season, and which so far has resulted in fewer deaths than recent past seasonal flu outbreaks in North America, speaks for intentional misdirection or even possible conspiracy involving vaccine makers and politicians to create a flu pandemic.
That the so-called swine flu was first observed in Mexico just at the same time Nicholas Sarkozy, president of France, was visiting there to announcement the establishment of a new French vaccine plant in Mexico, has to be more than coincidence.
It is obvious, cash-strapped local health authorities want the money being offered by the federal government and are being bribed into stirring up flu hysteria. According to the latest survey, about 49% of Americans are ready and willing to be vaccinated for this unusual flu strain that struck North America late in the 2008–09 flu season, in an alleged pattern similar to the deadly flu pandemic of 1918.
It appears governments around the world had foreknowledge of this viral pandemic. Not only did Replikins, a Boston-based biotech company, warn governments in 2008 of developing flu viruses that were of concern, but The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) began drills to administer vaccines in South Texas prior to the first cases this flu in Mexico beginning March 18, 2009. FEMA began pandemic flu preparations as early as 2007. The US Treasury Department also began coordinated flu pandemic preparations with Homeland Security also in 2007.”

Let’s face it: most Americans live in a world of false security. This is somewhat understandable, given the fact that the majority of the U.S. population was born after 1945. Few remember the dangers and hardships of World War II; fewer still remember the Great Depression. Few Americans know what it’s like to not have some sort of “supercenter” nearby with shelves stocked with every kind of food imaginable, twenty-four hours a day. Few know what life was like before there were restaurants of all sizes and types on virtually every street corner in America. And only a handful remembers when most roads were unpaved, or when sports were truly a pastime and not a megabuck obsession.
Modern living within the world’s only “superpower” has created a giant unsuspecting, soft, lackadaisical, and lethargic society. We expect the government to keep our streets safe, our roads paved, our stores stocked, our jobs secure, and our enemies at bay. However, in the desire to make government the panacea for all our problems, we have sold not only our independence, but also our virtue.
Where the federal government was contracted (via the U.S. Constitution) to accept limited power for the overall good of both states and people, it has become a monster of gargantuan proportions, claiming authority over virtually every liberty and right known to man. And in the process, it decided it didn’t need God, either.
It is no hyperbole to say that the U.S. federal government has been on a “Ban God” bandwagon for the past 50 years. Whether it kicks prayer and Bible reading out of school, bars military chaplains from praying in Jesus’ name, burns Bibles in Iraq, removes state supreme court chief justices from their positions for posting the Ten Commandments, or threatens high school principals with jail for asking the blessing, the federal government has invoked the judgment of Heaven upon our country as surely as did Old Testament Israel.
Although the comfortable, sports-crazed, TV addicts probably aren’t paying attention, this country is on the verge of an implosion like you cannot believe. For anyone who cares to notice, the signs are everywhere.
First of all, Israel and Iran are on the verge of war. And right now, I’m not concentrating on the “why” or “who’s right or wrong” of the equation. I’m simply telling you, war between Israel and Iran could break out at any time. And when it does, the chances that it will not become nuclear and not become global are miniscule. Yes, I am saying it: the prospects for nuclear war have never been greater. The CBS-canceled TV show, JERICHO, could become a reality in these United States in the very near future. (I strongly urge readers to purchase both seasons of JERICHO and watch them, because this could be our future.)
Secondly, America is on the verge of total financial collapse. By the end of this year, America’s budget deficit will stand at around $2 trillion. The debt gap is many trillions more than that. But the nail in the coffin for America’s fiscal health will be the decision by China to dump the U.S. dollar. Ladies and gentlemen, this will be the death knell for our financial stability (and a painful lesson in sowing and reaping).
It is estimated that China owns around one-third of all U.S. debt. If and when China dumps the U.S. dollar, there would be nothing left to stabilize it, and Weimar Republic/Zimbabwe-style inflation will ensue. America will be thrust into financial chaos. (If one doubts that China is planning to dump the dollar, consider that China is currently purchasing and stockpiling gold at an unprecedented level. This is why gold has suddenly surged to over $1,000 per ounce and why it will continue to rise.)
Third, the paranoia regarding the Swine Flu being demonstrated by both government and media spokesmen begs a giant push for some type of “government solution.” If they keep hyping this “pandemic,” mass hysteria and fear (created by the government and its lackeys in the media) will result. This would, no doubt, necessitate some form of forced vaccination, quarantine (maybe this is what all those internment camps will be used for), and martial law.
Exactly how and when all of the above will actually materialize is yet to be seen. There is no doubt in my mind, however, that within the next few months, the world that we know today is going to vanish. And most Americans are totally unprepared for what’s coming.
If you are able to get out of debt, do it. If you need to scale down your lifestyle in order to be better prepared for difficult days, do it. If you don’t have guns and ammo, buy them. If you have not prepared some sort of preserved food pantry, do it. If you don’t have some kind of survival plan in place for you and your family, get one. If you are not physically fit, get in shape. If you are able to move to a more secure, out-of-harm’s-way location, do it. (During any kind of financial or societal meltdown, urban areas will quickly turn into war zones. Can anyone say, “New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina”?) In other words, get your nose out of the boob tube, get your bottom off the easy chair, and get busy.
Am I worried or discouraged? Absolutely not! (But I am preparing.) The potential good that may result from all of the above is that perhaps God will protect and raise up a remnant of people who would be willing to rebuild a place where Natural Law is respected, constitutional government is revered, and where a ubiquitous, loathsome, overbearing federal government is far, far away. You know, like America’s Founding Fathers did 233 years ago.
In the meantime, get ready. It’s going to be a rocky road.

As we approach what many say will be the “Greatest Depression” I was inspired to combine lists into items needed in hard times. What follows is a list of lists covering areas that sustain the average family.
Most US families have no such checklist. Good times, as far as we can remember, don’t inspire planning for hard times. We’ve been immune from such worries for 65 years since the end of World War II. The average historical memory is probably only 20–30 years.
That lack of historical perspective is a handicap against what is currently happening to the US economy. And, the US is exporting their worst problems to the rest of the world. Ironically, “other” countries are facing hard times now, before the US.
My interest in optimizing all things leads me to prepare for good times and bad. I’m a natural optimist and believe that our Creator gave us the ability to overcome all obstacles. Checklists like this are proof of that ability. It was wise, not pessimistic of the Biblical Joseph to store seven years of grain before the famine.
To optimize one must first be thorough. When it comes to preparing for hard times that means making a thorough checklist. You may not have to purchase, store or do every item on the checklist. But, there’s many benefits to making one.
If your family could check off all the items on this list as ether done, not applicable or have access to then you’ll be doing far better than average even in good times.
Benefits of The Checklist, Itself
Just making your own version of this checklist leaves you mindful of the many tools and things that sustain us. It may even point out some weaknesses you haven’t yet addressed or thought about.
Another benefit is realizing we don’t need to own everything on the list. Simple access to many items is fine, and sometimes better, than ownership. That’s where friends and community come into play: We trade and share to make life easier and be more smart. Being more smart with what we have leads to needing less things to begin with.
Still, things like food, water, shelter and clothing are probably best owned. For essentials, there’s many benefits to listing and buying them, in advance:
You need them, anyway, so nothing goes to waste. Buy them now, while they’re available. Buy them before inflation raises their price (And your boss doesn’t raise your wages). Get bulk discounts. Less trips to the store is more efficient. The cost of not having essentials is a “high price” to pay. Thinking through this checklist tends to optimize your household which leads to needing less things. Awareness of essentials gets your mind spinning on creative ways to obtain them.
You might say this is a good list for good times. And it’s a great list for hard times.
Gold, Guns & Butter in Reverse
Gold comes last, not first.
“Before you buy gold, buy what you’ll need the gold for.”
We still have division of labor. That makes everything needed in hard times available for purchase now. If we get to a time when gold is needed to survive many essentials won’t be available at any price. Distribution channels for things that are available will be crippled. That will make their price rise even in gold terms.
By the way, have you seen the price of gold, lately? With one ounce in your pocket who will be able to make change for $1000 when you need milk and eggs at the store? It may be time to learn what our ancestors knew: Gold is for kings and Silver is for people.
Making this list forced me to recognize my limitations. As much as I value self-reliance being the sole provider of every item would be hard, if not impossible. For any truly hard times I’d want my family and friends around, at least. Any kind of optimal living, however, would need to go beyond that. That’s why I recommend adding one of the most urgent and crucial items onto your list in the ‘personal’ section: “Find people you can trust.”

What’s wrong with your church?

Recently I was asked about my theories about what may be wrong with a particular church. While I believe what I have written below is true, I still think that “some church” is better than “no church,” but I would warn that Christians should make themselves very aware of what follows and the possible ramifications which could vary greatly from one church to the next.
“That church is similar to many where for lack of education and Biblical understanding the American churches made several compromises that severely damaged their purpose to serve not only God’s people, but also the communities where they are located.
I think the start of this was incorporation itself. That is where the state enticed the churches to become corporations so that they could take advantage of a non-taxed status in exchange for political silence (IRS form 1022). Politics is the art and science of power. Ultimate power, as Christians should know, resides only with God and compromising that by letting churches become legal creatures of the state is a grievous error.
Additionally, we have Matt 4:8 where it is revealed what Satan owns. This should be a very clear warning to anyone who claims to be a Christian regarding where they can expect to find healthy associations. Matthew 4:8 directly warns us that governments are under the power of Satan otherwise he would not be able to offer such a thing to Jesus; you cannot give away something that you first do not own. We have seen evidence of this ownership throughout history where can find no match in any other man-made institution in the destruction of life, well being and prosperity. This unhealthy association is evidenced by the average church’s inordinate concern for worldly things – buildings, property and the trappings of wealth and status rather than outreach to their fellow man or equipping their congregations to do the same – Christian or otherwise.

Very little of what goes on in modern day American churches is based in Biblical teaching or early examples of the first gatherings of Christians shortly after Jesus’ time on earth.
What the average American Christian does not know extends into other areas of their worldly and spiritual lives and the modern day American church must necessarily take much of the blame. This lack of knowledge hurts the Body of Christ which also known as His Church. Just the comparison between the early American Colonial churches and the ones now is a real eye opener. There are a lot of very lost people in America these days, those that are poorly educated and generally have worldviews that are based on fiction (thanks to government schools) and churches should serve as an antidote to this debilitating force and unfortunately, very few operate in that capacity. They are mostly concerned with the status quo and the bottom line – adding people, keeping the coffers full and steering clear of any problems with the government which means compliance and cooperation with the agents of Satan.

For myself – I have the answer – successful Home Church is MUCH harder! I failed miserably in this effort primarily by not following the sage advice from those who do home church successfully and by not being more diligent in my walk with Jesus.

One of the strongest opponents of government intervention in reforming the health care industry is Ron Paul — a Republican congressman from Texas. He’s known to some as “Dr. No” for his opposition to tax hikes and refusal to vote for spending bills. He’s a doctor by training — an OB-GYN — and he’s written a new book called End the Fed — as in the Federal Reserve. He tells Weekend All Things Considered host Guy Raz that he doesn’t believe health care is a right.
Ron Paul: I do not believe peoples’ needs or desires or wants or demands are rights. Once you do that, you embark on a system of government that is uncontrollable. You have a right to your life, your liberty and you should have a right to keep what you earn. So I do not believe medical care is a right. And that’s one of the problems that we’re facing today and why there’s so much confusion on what we ought to do about health care.
Guy Raz: Congressman Paul, yesterday we spoke with Sen. Ron Wyden. He’s a Democrat. Like you, he opposes a government-sponsored health insurance plan. Here’s what he’s proposing: He wants a market-based solution — an exchange — that would have all insurers compete for your business and mine. But unlike the current plans floating around Capitol Hill, Ron Wyden would allow everyone to take part in that. Would you back something like that?
Well, from what you told me, that sounds like I should certainly think about it. But sometimes when they’re offered in that frame of mind, it means sometimes that they force you to participate.
Under the Wyden plan, and to some extent under the [plan by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus] currently circulating in the Senate, health insurance would be a mandate. Most people would be required to buy it.
Yeah — and that wouldn’t be something that I could support, because once the government gets in and either mandates something or regulates it or subsidizes it, it’s no longer insurance. If they want to call that a social welfare program, they would be more honest. But they shouldn’t ever use the word “insurance.” Insurance is a market phenomenon. When you buy something and somebody’s paid to measure risk, like life insurance, people understand that.
This whole idea that anybody that already has a condition can demand insurance is sort of like saying, well, your house is burning down, and you go to the insurance and say, “Hey my house is on fire. Can I buy insurance?” Everybody knows it doesn’t work that way. And we here on the coast in Texas, if there’s a hurricane in the Gulf, we can’t go out and buy insurance. Otherwise, the insurance companies would all go broke and the government would have to bail them out. So you have to — once again — think about insurance if you want better care and cheaper care and more care for more people, you have to look to the market for the distributions.
If it was left to market devices, how do you envision that working to help insure all Americans?
Well, about opposite of what we should expect when we go to total government. And we have a pretty good record of showing what we did in this country up until the 1960s. I recall working in a church hospital for $3 an hour and nobody was ever turned away and nobody was left out in the streets. And just think of all the church hospitals that have been closed down because the invasion of government into the health care industry.
But who would pay for them?
Well, who pays for the Shriner hospitals? Charity takes care of it, the churches take care of it. When government takes care of it, the bureaucrats get paid. And insurance companies become the lobbyists, the drug companies become the lobbyists, the management companies become the lobbyists, doctors get squeezed, the patients get squeezed. You can’t put all these corporations in between the doctors and the patients. You have a form of corporatism, which motivates the type of system that we have now, and it’s not any better. Some worry that Obama would give us socialized medicine, but he isn’t. He’s giving us a continuation of corporatism. He’s forcing people to buy insurance. The insurance companies love it! They love to see 20 or 30 million more people being forced into the system, and they will have more customers.
Ron Paul, let’s move on to your book now, End the Fed. You want to replace the Federal Reserve with a money system that would be backed by gold or other commodities. Is that right?
Yeah, basically I want to follow the Constitution, and that’s what the Constitution says.
As you know, many economists disagree on how the government should have dealt with the financial crisis last year, but most of them now concur that the Federal Reserve’s intervention worked to some extent. How would it have worked if there was no Federal Reserve?
Yeah, and the people who are saying it’s worked fine — and Bernanke says the recession is over — the same people who never saw it coming and never predicted it.
Well, we talked to Nouriel Roubini, one of the economists who did, and he agrees with most of the other economists on this.
What, that everything is OK?
Not that everything is OK, but that the government intervention essentially stabilized the markets.
Well, to some degree that has happened. And you could argue that case and make the point that since 1971, yeah, we’ve had some dips, but the government always came in and bailed them out, printed more money and spent more money, and the recessions were held to one year or two year. But what that does — it sort of patches over the leak or the bubble, but it makes a bigger bubble.
If there was no Federal Reserve, and we had the economic crisis that we had last fall, what would have happened today? Where would we be now?
Most of it would be behind us in a real sense. The best way to understand this would be to understand the depression of 1921. The Federal Reserve came in in 1913, and quickly they became great inflators to pay for a WWI that was absolutely unnecessary for us to be involved in. But that inflation had to correct. They still believed that you should have hands off and not, you know, continue to print a lot of money. And the boom was there from the wartime boom. They took hands off, and in one year it was over. And it was a big serious crash, but nobody remembers about it because it was over in a year.
So the answer to your question is, if we’d have done more like 1921, allowed not only Lehman’s to go broke, how about AIG? And how about Goldman Sachs? All the correction that is necessary has been delayed. There’s so many bad debts still floating around there, and so many bad debts have been passed off to the taxpayers now because the Federal Reserve has bought these. And this is why they don’t want us to know. This is why they won’t permit an audit. Because we’re gonna find out too much of the shenanigans that are going on behind the scenes.
You’ve tapped into a deep well of anger that is out there in this country, but I’m wondering whether you are at all uncomfortable with some of the more extreme statements, posters and signs that we’ve seen from some of the anti-government protesters in recent weeks. For example, posters that read “Bury Obamacare with Kennedy.” We saw them here in Washington, D.C., last weekend.
Yeah, I’m uncomfortable. But I don’t have control over people. But I have control over what I think and do and say and vote, and that’s the best I can do. And I can make suggestions. I know people are thinking along those lines and accuse people of things. And then the people on the other side will use the same type of language condemning them. So I don’t like that. I like to stick with the issues of the marketplace and sound money and limited government and what rights actually mean. That’s the only way we can get to the bottom of these problems.
